Need advice on new enclosure

Currently have a single xfl1224 in 2.5 ft3 slot port tuned at 36hz powered by a jbl gto 700.1  sounds amazing but box was built for a PA mofo 12 and I just made the xfl fit. I used re box creator and I know it's not dead on. So I just bought a Rockville db16 and thinking I'm going to get another xfl12 very soon. So my question is how big of a box and what should I tune it to? Which program can I use to model my enclosure that's acurate ? I have a 98 Blazer and plan on using whole area behind the rear seat, box is going to have to be split with no shared airspace in case one sub isn't working, also needs to be able to play decent sq since I don't listen to rap or decaf or any of that unless I'm showing off. When a song drops I want it to drop hard tho, I like the low 30s and high 20s.  Any help would be awesome, been on this form for quite a while, and it's the reason I decided on the xfl anyway, always good advice on here

2009 Silverado 1500, 7.5" lift, 37x12.50r17s, Built Gen 4 5.3L ( 4.8l flat pistons, decked 243s, SS2 Cam, Pac 1218 springs, ported intake, 120mm TB, Long tubes, 3" duals HP tuner software tuned by me), 4l80e swapped and 4.56 gears. All done by me. stereo is Pioneer avh 600ex, all stinger rca, jp23 v1.5, skar rp150.4, and hertz hpd4. 2 SHCA 6.5 8ohm, 1 SHCA 3.5", and 1 DS18 tw120pro in each door. The 3.5 mid and 3.5" tweeters are powered by the skar rp150.4, the 6.5s are powered by the hertz bridged @4 ohms. Dual runs   of 3/0 welding cable, 300a alternator, 2 Vmax AGMs up front. current sub is a AB XR 12 ( dual 2 ohm) with bottom spider cut out in 2.25 cubes at 32hz

Maybe I was too vague, I mean more along the lines of should I slot port, aeroport, or maybe a bandpass? My experience with bandpass enclosures are that they have nothing for quality sound. And anyone with experience with the AB xfl on a bunch of power? Wanna know what to expect, probably going to blow it but will get it reconed to handle more power (prolly psi) and want to plan in advance for what I'm getting into.

i have 2 on 2k right now.  in a 4.8 cu ft, common chamber, slot ported box.  tuned to about 34hz.  resonant frequency in my car peaks it around 37.

2.4 sq ft per xfl 12 is optimal.  if youre doing independent chambers, you can essentially build a box that has 2 mirrored chambers with the port opening in the center and have a divider wall down the center of the port.  that would keep both subs from interacting with each other.

set your gains to be distortion free across all your devices (amp, HU), youll have no issues giving them rated power, that db16 puts out less than 2200 rms @ 2 ohms, the subs are rated for 1k rms, believe me when i say they'll shrug at it.

Thank, that was kind if the answer I was looking for. Planned on basically doing a mirrored box center ported like u said. Right now I don't have a second xfl and will need a second amp to push it too . Can only afford one thing at a time lol. Again thanx for easing my mind about the sub handling the db16, had me a bit worried. Also was confusing the rxd-m5 specs with the db16s. Intended to buy the amp and use it to power both xfls. Guess I'll just have to buy a second amp. At 215$ it's not a huge deal tho.

is the xfl you have now a 1222 or 1244?

It's a dual 4 ohm, bought it that way cause my jbl is only 2 ohm stable.

So got my db16 today, only tuned it by ear since I didnt have my oscilloscope handy. Birth certificate is 2098 rms or something, but my jbl gto 700.1 still sounds louder. Am I just maxxed out for a single 12? Is my current box hurting output? Will it get any louder with a new slot port?
