Mr DeeBeez
I was just curious, does anyone know of some Sae style terminal buss bars? Or any thoughts on how to buss 5-6 Sae style terminals together? I know there is 6 spot terminals and others like it, but I can’t find any buss bars like you would find for the bolt terminals. Any ideas on best way to buss them together? bmwking
youre either going to spend a ton to span a great distance, or you can make your own using wire. but jims machineworx seems to make some https://jims-machineworkx.myshopify.com/products/xs-d1600-1400-buss-bars
WalledSonic
Screw those machined bars... crazy expensive. I bought a 3' section of 1/2" x 2" C110 Copper bar for $100 at a local metals supply shop. Cheap as fuck, drilled my own holes. WalledSonic
OHHH my bad, "SAE posts" threw me off. Sorry for the useless info guys. ? EDIT: these might be kinda cool. Expensive as fuck though. https://www.delcity.net/store/Left-Elbow-Pure-Copper-RoHS-Terminals/p_807703.h_823477.r_IF1003?mkwid=sPP7k3EsP&crid=38094426869&mp_kw=&mp_mt=&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7cWUj7WQ3QIVB4ezCh0pTA93EAQYBSABEgIlJ_D_BwE Chevy Sonic Wall (4) 15's on 10k Build Log https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/209412-2015-chevy-sonicwall4-15s10klithiumlarge-case-hairpin-us-alts/ (4) Fi SP4 15's | (2) Ampere 5Ks | Active! | Arc KS600.2 & KS125.2mini | CDT Silk Domes | Silver Flute 8s | 240Ah JY | US Alts Jeep Wrangler JK (4) 8's in a 4th Order Build Log https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/209841-shadow-2016-jeep-wrangler-jk4th-order4-8sdc-35klarge-case-hairpin-us-alts/ IG @walledsonic
Mr DeeBeez
Yeah, I have buss bars for my 6 xp3000’s. I just have never seen an equivalent for Sae style terminals. Was curious if anyone else has. Fi Team 18's (4) Crossfire 16k Crossfire 400.4 & 800.4 Pioneer AVH-X491bhs 140ah cmax CES 320's (2)
Mr DeeBeez
Or possibly right angle Sae terminals. So they would clamp to the post, and convert it to a top post set screw. Then I could just bolt my buss bars to that. I’ll do some digging to see what I can find Fi Team 18's (4) Crossfire 16k Crossfire 400.4 & 800.4 Pioneer AVH-X491bhs 140ah cmax CES 320's (2)
Joshdashef
Here's a funky idea. Get terminals like these then use a length of copper for the buss bar, drill holes so you can bolt on to the threads of the terminals. The bus bar would be thinner in width so only one wire connection in a row instead of others that allow for multiple. https://www.ebay.com/i/192568729326?chn=ps&ul_ref=https%3A%2F%2Frover.ebay.com%2Frover%2F1%2F711-117182-37290-0%2F2%3Fmpre%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.ebay.com%252Fi%252F192568729326%253Fchn%253Dps%26itemid%3D192568729326%26targetid%3D411140439302%26device%3Dm%26adtype%3Dpla%26googleloc%3D9011457%26poi%3D%26campaignid%3D1058576098%26adgroupid%3D54792399794%26rlsatarget%3Dpla-411140439302%26abcId%3D1133876%26merchantid%3D6392364%26gclid%3DCjwKCAjw5ZPcBRBkEiwA-avvk2wBWfPG4Wp6OOg7RHTl9MbtT11dVvz0fbAl9KA9h7lvnZfn8dzadxoCSHAQAvD_BwE%26srcrot%3D711-117182-37290-0%26rvr_id%3D1647880178190%26rvr_ts%3D81f78fbb1650ab6af2945543fff220cf Edit: didn't see you already mentioned these terminals SMD Tool Map (2022): https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/220267-smd-tool-map-2022/ My Port Size Calculator (in progress): https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/217087-port-size-calculator-in-progress/ Common Port Walls for a Slot Port: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/217076-common-port-walls-why-it-matters-to-your-box/?tab=comments#comment-3240313
