I have been looking to install an after market amp and subs in my wifes 2015 tlx but cant seem to find a good wiring diagram or post about 2015 and up acuras. every post i read says using LOC gives crappy signals. any advice on how to go about installing the aftermarket amp? Twistedmister Posted September 6, 2018 Report Share Posted September 6, 2018 Adding a head unit is always a good way to go. Do you not want to do that? I had to keep my stock stereo in my pilot because everything is toed together. So I added a clarion eq that had high level inputs. Thatll give you your sub out and front and rear if you want to add an amp for mids and highs later. Also, after you install the amp. If you get a hum from the sub at idle it could be your noise cancellation set up that comes in newer hondas. Took me forever to figure out what it was. Haha. Good luck!
