CorNut
I'm swapping out my JBL DSP & Soundstream amp for smaller (physically) Rockford gear I ordered the Rockford PLC2 bass knob to go with my new amp (T1000X5AD) but then seen the DSR1 DSP I ordered is compatible with the same bass knob. Does it matter which one I connect it to?
Joshdashef
I would connect to either or so long as it only adjusted the lows and not mids/highs SMD Tool Map (2022): https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/220267-smd-tool-map-2022/ My Port Size Calculator (in progress): https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/217087-port-size-calculator-in-progress/ Common Port Walls for a Slot Port: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/217076-common-port-walls-why-it-matters-to-your-box/?tab=comments#comment-3240313

I'm using the factory radio so there's no separate subwoofer level control
trumpet1
The remote knob connected to DSR-1 is what I recommend. It offers you options. Going to the bass amplifier only allows you to reduce the loudness of the bass by attenuating the gain. Within the Perfect Tune App you get to assign a function to the PLC2 knob. The two options I urge you to consider are the subwoofer level control or the Punch EQ. You won't need to select Master Volume control as that is done with the factory radio.
