You're gonna rise with 3-15's in a big ass box. Not an expert but I just clamped 1600 watts on a 5k with stout electrical and a single 15 rising to 4.3 ohms. Wire down and see that 12k you paid for. DiBo Posted September 19, 2018 Report Share Posted September 19, 2018 19 minutes ago, darryl2727 said: Hopeing to get 9k out of the 12k You're going to need to wire lower than 1.33 to get 9k out of that amp. .5 should do it but you don't have that option with dual 2 ohm woofers. .33 is low and I honestly shouldn't suggest something I've never wired to so if it were me I'd wire 2 5k's to 1.33@ .67 each and you'll probably be happy with that.
