How many accessories on stereo acc wire?

Recommended Posts

Hey all! I'm soldering up my wiring harness for my install this weekend. I have the HU, a backup camera, a Stinger volt meter and a Dakota Digital electronic antenna. Each of these has a 12V lead and needs to be connected to an ACC wire. Can I connect all of these items to the red ACC. wire on the stereo wiring harness? It would make the install a lot easier, but I'm not sure if that's too many items on that one wire. Any help would be most appreciated.

Awesome, sounds like a relay is the way to go. So I'll hook up the HU and the relay to the wiring harness ACC. wire. And I'll hook up the Voltmeter, backup cam and antenna to the relay. seems easy enough.

https://ceautoelectricsupply.com offers ready-to-install turn-on relay kits (as well as other great products), and Tony C is our very own @snafu. Great customer service, and a great source of information
