aburger
Hey all! I'm soldering up my wiring harness for my install this weekend. I have the HU, a backup camera, a Stinger volt meter and a Dakota Digital electronic antenna. Each of these has a 12V lead and needs to be connected to an ACC wire. Can I connect all of these items to the red ACC. wire on the stereo wiring harness? It would make the install a lot easier, but I'm not sure if that's too many items on that one wire. Any help would be most appreciated.
Bret
One option to consider is to use a relay. I haven’t used one before but am definitely going to need one on my next install.

Jessica
I use up to 3 depending on what they are. Then I go with a relay. Recently I had 3 amps, an smd vm1, and an smd om1. No issues. aburger
Awesome, sounds like a relay is the way to go. So I'll hook up the HU and the relay to the wiring harness ACC. wire. And I'll hook up the Voltmeter, backup cam and antenna to the relay. seems easy enough.
