Haha... 270 amp alt, dual 1/0 ofc everywhere, 300 ah of quality AGM... The usual stout electrical for running 5-6k RMS. Already have subs too. Cleaned up yesterday on an enclosure and install.

Multiple batteries? If yes go for it ran my shit at .6 for 3yrs and with good electrical it loved it.

Yeah I've already ran the 5k @.5. 2 group 31 in the trunk and one group 24 AGM under the hood. Cars getting a wall. Trying to decide between 3 or 4-15's or 4 to 6-12's.

(3) at 0.67... more cone area and wired lower?  Thats a no brainer assuming you have the volume for it.

The following shows the cone area advantage, 3 over 2 2.5 net per driver, power is the same 5000W to either option:

So 2dB or so, now you need to factor in the increase in power due to wiring lower, maybe 1-2 dB more. Some extra infos on the amp power delivery against load impedance would be useful. Looks like a moderate improvement in any case.
