Jessica
look here, a 2k/(4k peak) home audio sub that runs on 115v with 13amps of fusing. sketchy math is sketchy. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. My super random youtube channel and terrible camera work. Triticum Agricolam
Lol, yeah. Kinda like the Behringer iNuke 6000 watt amps that plug into a single 15 amp 120 volt power outlet ? MrSkippyJ
I’m lower than novice when it comes to electricity, but 2k watts at 120V is about 16amps I think...so 12 amps isn’t that far off, considering the extreme dynamics of home theatre bass, is it? Again, my understanding is lower than novice so I could be way off here. MrSkippyJ
and 100% output too. I'm just wondering if that 12 amp rating is an average draw rather than max draw. Broke_Audio_Addict
Well who has a amp dyno or an amm-1 and $2k to blow on this thing to run the test? I'm curious to see what its got now. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
