After the family stopped by, I couldn't wait any longer, built a simple platform for the box to sit on  (without it the sub box would not be stable and keep flopping around), then installed the box and amp and wired it up. Set the gains with a multimeter until I can find someone local with a dd1 to help me fine tune the amp.

How does it sound? Did you mount the box to that platform?

Sounds good, not really going to hammer on it yet till I I get someone with a dd1 and cc1 to help me fine tune the amp.  I am in the process of mounting the box to the platform as I am typing this.

A local basshead, helped me tune the amp. I am planning on having a custom box build for the subs.

My head unit came back from Rockville and I reinstalled it. So far,  no issues or problems like last time. An it was a quick turn around.

Picked these up for $80 shipped, the speakers are Infinity Kappa 60.5cs 6-1/2" Component System. They will be installed after I get more 10 gauge sky high speaker wire and a sundown 100.4 amp.
