cpu choices, who wants to help?

I run a I7 8700K and flat out love it  pc boots up in under 20 seconds, gaming is out of this world any game fully maxed out

For all I know Ryzen will want the rather expensive DDR4 RAM, will not take DDR3,

update: this is what i settled on, only regret was i forgot to check if the motherboard had opitical out. this one doesnt. 

so far its been a beast. but im ready to upgrade to the new ryzen already.  lol
