Thanks guys. Currently the interstate battery and stock alternator leave the headlights dimming pretty badly. Figured I'd ask. Been into amps and subs for years but this new vehicle/ tech is a bit confusing.

want your headlights to stop dimming?  go led.

probably time for an upgrade on the old yellow lights anyway

Grab an xs4800. Upgrade the main ground and alt wire. And see how that goes. Should be plenty

Right on. I'll put those on at the first of the list.

The headlights will still dim even with a better alt.

This^^^ is what I don't get. With my older vehicles swapping the alternator and battery/ies cured this prob. Why not now?

I'd do this in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the bad reviews on LEDs in these headlight housings. Something about light beam scatter and what not.

Subs don't hit when powered by cheap amps!

ah you must have the reflector housings then.  if it wasnt $300 to upgrade to the ltz projector style housing i'd say go for both.  but spending nearly ~$400 just to fix headlight dimming may not be your thing
