38sFinest
Hey fellas, First post here and I came to ask the pros - I just installed a T1S2 10” in my RZR. The box is custom made and replaces the glovebox, and has the sub firing toward the firewall in the middle of the RZR. The sub sits about 2” from the firewall at rest, and when I power it on it flexes that thing pretty hard. The firewall is just a relatively thin plastic, and it’s not rattling at all, but I’m wondering if I’m losing a lot of bass with it absorbing so much of the energy. And at the very least I couldn’t imagine this is healthy for the life of the firewall. I was considering sticking some CLD tiles on it. Will this help anything? I have a ton of SDS mlv, ccf, and cld tiles laying around but I’m not sure I have space for anything except the tiles in there. I’ve never worked with a non enclosed system before, as these machines are just tube chassis and plastic. All open to the air.
