Electrical needed for 4600 RMS

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm going to be running two Q1-2200.2 amps strapped together for a final impedance of 2 ohms for my 2 Orion HCCA152 subs. The total RMS that will come from these two strapped is rated at 4600watts at 2 ohms.  have a 270A mechman alt, and I was thinking about running 3 of the XS Power d3100s. My battery under the hood is a Optima red25 with 720 CCA. I was going to wire the 3 XS Powers in parallel. Big 3 done under the hood, and was wanting to run everything with NVX 100% OFC 0/1 gauge wire. Will this be enough to handle the 4600 watts?

And for my second question is, does anyone have a diagram of how to wire the batteries together along with the amps?

Thank you in advance

Make sure to fuse accordingly and dont exceed the ampacity of the wiring. Properly setup and tuned, you shouldnt have much issue with electrical.

Positive to positive, negative to negative.
