Glued up, and screwed up. Things werent lining up, some panels were tryna bend. So i had to use some screws.

Next time around i'll have a brad nailer, and some clamps.

Ill have to wait till i can get to the store and pickup some thick dowel rods to use as cross bracing, also add some small strips of 45 angled peices along the inner seams. Then i can glue the last side on.  I was way off thinking i could get the box playing in a day or two lol.

Box updates FINALLY. Got some vacation time off from work.

Got the dowels cut and sanded to the best lengths i could do. Glued then let it sit for 24 hours.

Then put the final side panel on. Glued, clamped and weighted down the mid section.

Noob tip: DONT cut ur sub holes till after the box is built, specially if the subs hole is almost the same width as the board. It causes weak pressure points when you try to clamp it.

Joints are glued and i also applied some silicone sealant adhesive titebond stuff to every interior joint, man that shits a mess to work with. Its good tho because i need to fill small gaps in the box.

Glued my wire against against the box, also drilled a hole near the ports starting internal point becuase that made the most sense at the time becuase i was restricted on wire length. Not my ideal spot to have the wires come out of the box from but it'll do for this PRACTICE box. Its going to be one strip of 10awg speaker wire for both speakers directly to the amp. I only had one small piece of 10awg left. Also the sub has push terminals that wont fit two 8awg  wires in one terminal.

My jumpers are 8awg. And its hard to fit them in, takes some good finesse.

Last pics of the box. The rest will be on the 2014 1500 Rams build log. Pretty happy about how my first box came out. Not a typical rectangle trunk box.

Teaser for the build log.

Here i was test fitting the box before i mounted the subs.

Passenger seat needs to be removed to get the box in and out. Thats before the subs even in the box, shits hard to grasp and carry alone, but i got it ;)

Is the box big enough? Should have inverted the subs

Im not sure if ur being sarcastic or not lol but the box is as big as i wanted to go, shits huge to me. Inverted would just be rediculous and too much goin on for me. I didnt want it to look too crazy.

Shitty part is i think i mightve hooked up the second sub with the wrong polarity SMFH. I bumps but not like a 15 should and theres barely any air coming out of the port. Gonna try to fix it while im on the road.
