oeking87
So I've seen this done alot of times and my current build is going to be wired this way because I think it looks badass and I have the equipment to do it but I'm just wondering is there any gain in amps by doubling your wires to your amplifier I have a alpine MRP-M2000 with a single 0awg terminal but wired with customer machined dual 0awg splitters. k58.cross
No gain in amperage nope. A wire does have some resistance over its length, but it's negligible (especially at that short of length). What you're doing will be for aesthetics only. A wire only needs to be a certain thickness depending on how much current you need to flow through it and how long it is. See this chart:
oeking87
Ok nice to know thank you and I saved that chart helpful tool. And I'm going to leave the dual setup because fuck it, I have the parts and it looks badass! But thank you again.

Id use machined dual inputs instead of the tape but still looks good. ♦ Sundown NSV4 18" + Sundown SALT-4 Baby ♦ MechMan Elite 370a + XS3100 - XP3000 ♦ SHCA 1/0 OFC(blue) + SMD Fuse Holders(blue) ♦ Pioneer AVH-2440NEX + SHCA Pro RCA
