The cause of my woes... Completely my fault.

Got it fixed. $100. I got lucky and didn't fry the whole thing. Regulator and whatever piece this is haha. The guy explained it to me I was just so happy it was a hundred bucks I forgot what he said.

Oh my

What came first? Hot alternator melt the solder? Or solder overspray causing issues? Both?

Yup. Jump started a dead battery and it took forever. Burned up the the regulator too I was told. Good as new now... Well better than new because now I won't f*** it up doing some dumb ass s***lol
