The cause of my woes... Completely my fault.

Oh my

What came first? Hot alternator melt the solder? Or solder overspray causing issues? Both?

Yup. Jump started a dead battery and it took forever. Burned up the the regulator too I was told. Good as new now... Well better than new because now I won't f*** it up doing some dumb ass s***lol
