Triticum Agricolam
A 6" aero port will be fine for what you want to do. Is 3.7 cu ft the net space after sub displacement? If so the port needs to be about 19-20". mestapho
Then you need to tune differently, run the ports protruding, or alter your box.

Let this be a lesson to you, you DON'T CUT ANY WOOD until you have EVERYTHING figured out. Since your box is already built you probably aren't going to be able to get exactly what you want. You can shorten the port to about 16", which should tune you to around 33 Hz, and should still have enough room behind the port for it to breathe properly. This is probably your easiest way out of this problem. If you want a lower tuning the best thing to do would be to rebuild the box and use a slot port.
