Question #2, I Listen to music on the Aux cord so do I need to play the DD-1 playlist off my phone rather than the Cd? I don't know anything about stock headunits really. But I have a DD-1 my self, and to your second question; In my experience at least (aftermarket Pioneer headunit) the volume levels are different between AUX and Bluetooth for example (by a lot actually). I don't use bass boost on my amplifiers, but I have a remote bass-knob which I turn all the way up, then tune it. It says clearer how you can do it in the manual Edit: I also have everything else flat, on my headunit for example.
