I got self regulated at 14.9 and comes with a single yellow wire for the harness. It says to run to a 12v switch source, I feel like an idiot but what the hell is that? Like, the keyed on wire to your head unit. Same same.... Meter, set to DCvolts. Hot to the fuse or wire or whatever, Ground to metal. Is there 12v with the key off? Yes- Find another source/fuse on fuse block No- Turn key on,......... is there 12v with key on? No- Find another source/fuse on fuse block Yes- Tap into it. I could just run it through the firewall and tie into the deck's remote wire. Assuming thats what you mean by key on wire from deck. I wouldn't tie it into the deck but that's up to you. I wouldn't tie it into the deck but that's up to you. Ok thanks, ill probly just do the ACC thing with a empty fuse slot under the hood. Seems to be easiest way.
