I need another dd1 but if i can get thr amm1 woth everything else that will mean i dont have to buy both tools Quote ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
Joshdashef
The purpose of this tool is to enable the user to: Measure True Amplifier Power output into any load reactive or resistive Measure Common DC voltages Measure DC voltage drops during quick transients on cable runs or battery / charging systems Measure Impedance of speakers at any power or frequency from 20Hz - 1kHz (box rise) Measure Phase Difference between Voltage and Current into reactive loads (Power Factor) Find Tuning Frequency of subwoofer enclosures Tune subwoofer enclosures for maximum power transfer Measure AC Volts (amplifier output) Measure AC Amps (amplifier output) Measure apparent power (VA) output, Phase Angle, and Real Power (Watts) of audio amplifier, or consumption of appliances that run on AC power Measure Frequency of a Sine Wave https://www.wccaraudio.com/smd-audio-multimeter-amm-1.html Nothing about distortion detection from what I can tell Quote SMD Tool Map (2022): https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/220267-smd-tool-map-2022/ My Port Size Calculator (in progress): https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/217087-port-size-calculator-in-progress/ Common Port Walls for a Slot Port: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/217076-common-port-walls-why-it-matters-to-your-box/?tab=comments#comment-3240313

reedal
I am on duty today, but I'll try to remember to check my AMM-1 tomorrow when I get home, if no one gets you an answer by then Quote SMD Tool Map https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/193176-smd-tool-map-new-november-2014/ Build log https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/197217-reeds-03-tahoe-hat-sqaq-singer-xs-shca-cockbox-80prs/?page=
mothra
the AMM1 is measuring live, so if there is no load there's no measurement. if you have a resistor pack you could use the AMM1 to help set gains. resistors with a high wattage rating become very expensive very quickly. i'd just fork over the money for a DD1 or DD1+. now if you can get a measurement without a load, that's beyond me of how you could make that happen without a resistor of some sort.
