Jeremy009
Hey guys. I got a single 12" for bass, average sub and port on the same face of box. Going for some spl, what is the best placement for the box? (Facing up, facing forward) ect. The car is a toyota Corolla ae90 liftback.
ToNasty
Test it. Every vehicle if differant ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
Wiredoggonzo
I've seen with my HCCA152 facing backwards turned to an angle it hits about 3 db's higher. I agree with @ToNasty that just testing different positions with every vehicle being different dimensions/airspace.
shredder2
Liftback?.. does it have some sort of cargo cover? Looks to me if you pushed the enclosure as far back as possible or find optimal positioning it'll be loading off the hatch glass facing upwards. Easy to get loud AF when it's a hatch....just play with positioning but either face backwards or push it back and face upwards. How much power are you putting to your "average sub"? Its a massive hippo 122 on a deafbounce 2k. I got a optima redtop infront and a xs power xp 3000 in the back, 140alt, big 3, 0awg ofc wires with 80prs headunit. I keep having problems with bass previously, it just doesnt travel out off the car well and i heard hatchbacks a great for bass.
