Active front stage

Hey guys, so I've paid so much attention to my bottom end.. I've kinda settled for sub par mids/highs. I've got 2 JBL gti660's in each front door with the matching tweet in the sail. Now, I've got the option to give each mid it's own channel through the dsp & amp. Should I treat the two 6.5's in each door as a single speaker and bridge the amp orrr use all 4 channels thus giving each mid it's own option for time delay/tuning? They aren't separated from on another in the back of the door ...

I thought you could fit a single 8 in each door ...

Personally, I’d run each driver on it’s own channel and leave the control to the Helix.

Do you only have the aformentioned speakers in the front doors or are there other rear door speakers as well? I take it you're running the rockford T1000.4 on the front mids and tweets?

Yeah, each door houses two 6.5's with a tweet in the sail. I've got the t1000-4 on just the mids & a t400-2 on the tweets

If you gave each mid it's own channel you would still need another amp for the highs if you wanted it active. Im sure you know this.

As of now Ive got the 1000-4 bridged to 2ch and treating the two mids in each door as one channel.. wasn't sure if I should go ahead and separate them and get a little more tuning capability with each mid on its own channel

I read your post wrong.

I’d run a much stronger 2 channel before i’d Bridge a 4 channel any day. Just never been a fan of bridging 4 channel amplifiers.
