Theron
I'm building a 4th order for 2 American bass xfl12s with a round port. How do I calculate the ports diameter? I'm going with a 2:1. Thanks in advance.
Triticum Agricolam
How much power are you going to be running? I assume you will tune to around 45 Hz? If you use the port area calculator it will tell you how much port area you need, from there you can determine what size round port/s you want. For example a 6" port has 28.27 sq in of port area, 8" - 50.27 sq in, etc. I would error on the high side when it comes to port area.
