You can easily run wires through the boot of these vehicles. The is a big enough gap under the plug at the body to run multiple sets of speaker wires though.

 

I put power windows in about 20 of these trucks (stripped base model though) for NDOT last year.

 

I also live in Reno so if you need a hand I may be able to help you out.

The boot in my truck covers the whole plug. Unless i need glasses

Take the boot off and you can leave the plug connected and sneak wires above or below it and you can put the boot back on.

I was planning on going active then adding a good quality 3.5 in the pillar. Was looking at the Audio Dynamics ADMC334 3'', unfortunately I do not know much about them

If you're planning on running 3 sets of components active plus sub.  You'll need a dsp with more channels. if you ran a 3 way active front stage.  No rear fill then the twk would work great.  Buts it's only a 10 band eq if I remember right
