These two guys asking questions are some of the top SQ guys on this site so i would listen to there inquires about your set up. It takes info to understand what your looking for. I personally think the dealer steered you in the wrong way. A high output 2 channel to run 6 drivers or 3 2 ch amps to run active. What they suggest is passive & active. How else would be able to set up the mid-bass driver?

I also would lean toward newer amps. They can be more efficient & have lots of tuning features. Older amp are still good but how much life is left before repairs are needed.

And i would also not go class D, i prefer a/b.  Whats your budget and size limitations?

16 inches long max. 10 wide 4 tall max size.  No more than $400 on the amp. I would probably be happy with these speakers using there passive networks.  The amp will get 8 volts in from a Memphis eq/line driver, using ess sabre dac's to feed it the signal from the asus z10 tablet. Sorry I didnt mean to come off as an ass. I wasn't following but it makes since and i should have knew that.
