Still learning8422
Sup yall! I'm new to this site, posting wise, so I'll keep it short. I got 4x pioneer 8in pros, 2x 3.5in pro tweets and 4in pro tweets. All 4ohms. Should I go with 1 4ch amp for all highs and 1 4ch amp for mids or wire them like a component sets then 4ch for all sets? Thank u for any help given
Mike4068
I'd put them on separate amps. Those tweets are going to need a lot less power than the mids.
White Lightning
So, you bought all that equipment before you gave thought on wiring applications ??? Still learning8422
I already had alot of equipment from previous systems. I have a 4ch running all 8 speakers like components but the amp is making some weird sounds in the rear passenger side now and the company wont fix it. So I'm upgrading to either 2 amps or a better 4ch. Tweets are 100watts(3.5in)and 200watts(4in) rms, they the pro series. Mids are 180 rms

White Lightning
Use a 4 channel on the mids and tweets, then a 2 channel on the mid bass Kenwood / HELIX / Linear Power (For The Love Of Music) / Brutal Sounds / OverKill Electric Co Questions About Sound Quality ?? ehall8702
I have a single 4 Chanel pushing 2 6.5 pros and 2 3.5 pros, the tweets take WAY less power for sure. I'd get a smaller 4 channel for all the tweets ( 1&2 for the 3.5s, 3&4 for the 4") and a good two channel for the 8s unless u wanna have one set of 8s play lower than the other, then a 4ch for them too. My 6.5 pros say they can play down to 70 hz and can with a steeeeeep roll off so I'd imagine the 8s can play that low easily. 2009 Silverado 1500, 7.5" lift, 37x12.50r17s, Built Gen 4 5.3L ( 4.8l flat pistons, decked 243s, SS2 Cam, Pac 1218 springs, ported intake, 120mm TB, Long tubes, 3" duals HP tuner software tuned by me), 4l80e swapped and 4.56 gears. All done by me. stereo is Pioneer avh 600ex, all stinger rca, jp23 v1.5, skar rp150.4, and hertz hpd4. 2 SHCA 6.5 8ohm, 1 SHCA 3.5", and 1 DS18 tw120pro in each door. The 3.5 mid and 3.5" tweeters are powered by the skar rp150.4, the 6.5s are powered by the hertz bridged @4 ohms. Dual runs of 3/0 welding cable, 300a alternator, 2 Vmax AGMs up front. current sub is a AB XR 12 ( dual 2 ohm) with bottom spider cut out in 2.25 cubes at 32hz
