Hey everybody I'm trying to find out if my 2000 chevy malibu could fit a 2 15in ported/vented box

and if so is there any vendors that build them? (i'm nervous on building a box due to lack of tools and knowledge)

so far I have 2 12in subs in a box that measures out to 35W x18Lx 15h I still have alteast 1 or 2 inches of width space.

My current setup is

Nvx Vad17001 wired at 2 ohms x 1350

Dual 12in pioneer champion pro's (600 Rms per sub)

(Current Box dimensions 35L x 18D x 15H)

Trunk space I have is 37L x 20D x 16H

New build aim is

compact Amp rated @2000w Rms  (1000rms per sub)

but if possible I would like to use my current amp with better subs.

sorry for late late response.

Your max box size shows 5.51 cubes gross... not gonna fit 2 15s and port. Probably barely fit 1 15 after all displacements. Hell you barely have even enough for 2 12s with proper port area

your woofers are already 2" from the trunk? That's really close. Realistically, 15's and port if both facing the same way should be at the very least, 6" from any sort of wall, 7-8" is even better. Going with 6" though, it leaves you 4.8 cu ft (37x16x14) to work with. After displacement for port, woofers, wood thickness etc you'll tend to lose 35-45% of your usable space. If you can manage it with only losing 35% you're left with 3.12 cu ft, and that's assuming you can use every last inch and still be able to load it in the trunk. Realistically, you'll probably be slightly under 3 cu ft usable if that helps your decision. If you can get 3 cu ft usable, you might be able to run a SA 15
