That is the ONLY reason i didn't do full liquid this time. Nothing like a new card coming out and just swapping them in...no blocks to mess with. But i do have a soft spot for it and that is great! 79 cutty
Why didn’t you do liquid cooled? You definitely should have done that!! lol, someone was going to say it! I don’t know shit about computers, but looks like fun to build! Quote Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! You can't rush quality, it doesn't happen overnight. 3Degrees
Nice build! I'm sure that'll rip through the games, video editing, or whatever else you do on it! Just curious if you considered AMD at all for the processor this time? For the first time in years they are on par or beating Intel at everything. Don't get me wrong, I'm running an Intel in my custom PC, but if I were to build one now, I might consider going back to team red. Just wondering if you have some Intel brand loyalty or hate AMD or what, like I said, just curious. Speaking of my build, built it a couple years ago so it's aged a little but can still eat up the games or anything else I throw at it: I7 7700K Asus ROG GTX 1080 ASUS ROG STRIX Z270E Mobo SAMSUNG 960 EVO M.2 500GB WD Black 2TB Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR4 3200 Corsair Crystal Series 570X RGB case Corsair 850W Modular Power Supply Corsair H100i v2 AIO cooler Dell S2716DG monitor (plus an old 22 inch monitor and 47 inch TV, both of which I had extra)
Jessica
im just running a i7 8700k and an 1080TI and it can run pretty much anything while streaming. so your rig will not let you down. that said. i have a tip for you. when you stream on twitch their codecs suck for 1080 streams, you are better off streaming at 900p at a higher bandwidth or even 720p. they dont have the upload bitrate for good quality 1080p 60fps yet. RainStryke
Nice build! Play many games that utilize SLI? I've had a few SLI and crossfire set-ups recently. I kinda went back to a single card set-up due to the issues I was having... Can't wait for them to come up with a solution that doesn't require the developers to put in extra work to make it compatible with multi-card rigs. Yeah, Port Royal is pretty hard on a RTX 2080Ti, that's the best benchmark to really see what those RTX 2080Ti's can do. It does cost a little bit to run that one though... If you have 3DMark Advanced it's like a 3 dollar upgrade. Otherwise, Time Spy is their latest free benchmark that most use. Other free benchmarks: The demo of Shadow of the Tomb Raider has a benchmark in the setting page. You can download it on Steam. Neon Nior is another good one for Ray Tracinghttps://www.cryengine.com/marketplace/product/neon-noir
