Zx2500.1

My shop owner always ran his 2 at 1 ohm for 2 Solo X 18"s and they wuold produce around 3500 watts If I remember right. But the downside was he was always replaceing the amps after about every 3 months from them burning out due to they are only makeing around maybe another 1000 watts more he said it isent worth it.

by design, no, but can they, yes. I've seen the ZX1500's burp at .7 strapped. But imp rise, and voltage, do have alot to pan into it.

Why voltage need? If it was hooked to 1 Ohm it would try to make 2500 W X 1.4 = 3500 Watts. 3500 Watts of audio takes 3500 X 1.4 = 4900 Watts of battery power. If the battery is typical then 4900 / 12.5 = 392 Amps
