It totally depends on the organization you're competing in. I believe DBDrag is still under window line. However, I mainly compete in ISPLL, and their rule for a no-wall is at least 12" from the roof. This box will be like 3" over window line, but plenty far enough from the roof for ISPLL. 1993 Suburban 6 Crossfire XT3 15s Crossfire XS-16k Crossfire mids & highs and amps 65ah Cmax bank Iraggi 320a and Mechman 300a
crazydoublekick
I got my Brand X voltage control knob installed over the weekend and picked up 9 sheets of 3/4" birch. crazydoublekick
After one last FINAL revision, I think the design is officially a go. I ended up saving myself a sheet of wood by redesigning it for using 5'x5' sheets of 13 ply Baltic, instead of the HD birch I picked up Sunday. I just returned the birch to HD, and will be picking up the Baltic this weekend. I'm hoping to get started on the cabin repair and prep tomorrow evening. 1993 Suburban 6 Crossfire XT3 15s Crossfire XS-16k Crossfire mids & highs and amps 65ah Cmax bank Iraggi 320a and Mechman 300a
crazydoublekick
A buddy and I welded up all the rear quarter panel damage last night. Tonight, I'll be starting on foaming and deadening the back of the truck. 1993 Suburban 6 Crossfire XT3 15s Crossfire XS-16k Crossfire mids & highs and amps 65ah Cmax bank Iraggi 320a and Mechman 300a

Here's where i mounted it in the cab. I just used some strong double sided velcro. It's a 2 wire knob. 1 wire goes to the S wire on your alt(s) plug, and the other goes to switched 12v. Suuuuuper easy. It's adjustable from 14.8v-16v. I've got mine charging in the low-mid 15s. I have a voltmeter wired to my rear battery so I can keep an eye on charging voltage. 1993 Suburban 6 Crossfire XT3 15s Crossfire XS-16k Crossfire mids & highs and amps 65ah Cmax bank Iraggi 320a and Mechman 300a

Are u worried at all about other electrical when ur charging at 15v? 15" Neo Elite 135AH Lithium Bank Taramps Bass30k 320a Brand X Purple Metallic Ho Alt 125+ Ft of oversized 1/

Are u worried at all about other electrical when ur charging at 15v? I'm not worried about it, personally. I've been doing some research, and it seems that people don't have issues with these trucks until around 16v. Just to be safe, I'm going to keep charging around 15.5v at MOST. 1993 Suburban 6 Crossfire XT3 15s Crossfire XS-16k Crossfire mids & highs and amps 65ah Cmax bank Iraggi 320a and Mechman 300a
