I pulled a big big fuckip yesterday.

 

Changed oil the day before.

 

After getting home from work next day, I noticed bad smell ad smoke.

 

Stopped on road.

 

I left oil fill cap off after oil change night before.

 

Just ran all new big 3, new alt. New fuse terminal. Etc.

 

A huge fat fucking mess.

I know you told me same thing months ago lol....was one of the determining factors in me taking the jump...was all talk with the bad shit but no real proof, saw the Dyno and tons of demo bids and comment with no issues so just haters with over priced amps not making the power taramps was that's all!.will see for myself Soo, will be getting box built this weekend and hopefully wiring in soon.

All done by me. stereo is Pioneer avh 600ex, all stinger rca, jp23 v1.5, skar rp150.4, and hertz hpd4. 2 SHCA 6.5 8ohm, 1 SHCA 3.5", and 1 DS18 tw120pro in each door. The 3.5 mid and 3.5" tweeters are powered by the skar rp150.4, the 6.5s are powered by the hertz bridged @4 ohms. Dual runs   of 3/0 welding cable, 300a alternator, 2 Vmax AGMs up front. current sub is a AB XR 12 ( dual 2 ohm) with bottom spider cut out in 2.25 cubes at 32hz

Idk how loud it was not having a stereo setup would make me hang myself!  These pioneers are loud ASF and don't burn ur ears up so u can play all day and not get a headache. I got em crossed over at a steep roll off at 70hz , no other pro audio 6.5 I have had have been so smooth and played this deep, usually they gotta be crossed over at 120 or higher.

 

That was  with single 6.5 and the 3" tweeter 80 watts each, so 160 rms per door.

Got box roughed in...gonna get the tool that makes everyone look like a good carpenter tomorrow, a belt sander! Gonna give it a nice bzzz with it, round the corners and then hit with palm sander for a nice smooth finish. I was gonna stain this box but not liking the crews I had to put in it and think wood filler in the screw holes will make it look stupid so finish of box is still up in the air. Got in a groove and didn't really take any more pics lol. Will take more tomorrow, have rough box and holes in it. Dropped subs in and hooked it to my gf truck ( 500 watts on a good day) and sounded pretty good and had garage rattling with subs barely moving.

Also built a buddies box at same time, his sounded badass tho. I roughed that box too, it's his fun to sand and finish it tho.

Here first run on new box, off my girls lil quantum 800 mono ( maybe 500 watts? Has a 40a fuse if they tells ya anything lol) didn't realize Everytime bass hit it fucked with the phone. But had my garage rattling .

Wire came in today...looks same size as the oversized shca cca 1/0 but new 3/0 welding won't fit into same ring terminals as the shca. Pretty stoked to start running this stuff and get my box finished!
