Audiohz
I have a box that has a single terminal it’s a down4sound pro pre fab I have two sundown U10’s in it on a sundown sae 3k subs all wired in Parallel to each other then to the single terminal using 10 ga knu wire. Is that terminal safe for the wattage? Looking at the smd terminal the hole needs to be a .75 larger and I have no way to make the hole larger so best option? AaronT
Lately people are really hung up on terminals and wire for wattage. Even Meade himself will tell you 14g is fine for 1500+ No harm in going big though, but yes your down for sound box is fine for big numbers and I'm sure you read the description when you bought the box it specifically says good for the U series... So if it's built specifically for those subs why wouldn't handle the wattage they need?
