Just curious, why would you buy 2 30k's on a whim? You had to know your going to need multiple runs of 4/0 and like 3 alts and like 1000 ah of battery? Lol

yupper, had to get it when i could brotha. u know. wasnt much of a whim. Its all a step process for me

What kind, size, and how many subs do you plan to run with a 30K amp ?

In my mind, a 30K amp wouldn't be used in "anything but" a pro competition level system, and as such, I'd expect a person(s) to start with figuring for the alternators.... Then onto the batteries. Next the amplifiers, and then on to the subwoofer and other speakers. Then to plan for all the wiring and other accessories......

And then, only after all that, to start aquiring the hardware.

It would seem odd to me, to start with one or two pieces of hardware, and trying to build everything around that ?

I plan on running 8 subs. It's being worked out right now which brand/series im going with, but dont wanna say for sure yet which im leaning towards, Neo Elites, or TRF's.

Well i've been planning this for awhile. I know what i want, its more of the "logistics" of the rest of it that im going thru right now, acquiring. The alts I want are on back order, Box Designs are being made, and already have ordered the banks, doing 135's, :D

30k amp needs at least 6 $700 5000 watt woofers or more so the sub side alone is almost 5 grand

then comes the electrical lol

id be scared tbh because u need thousand$ in subs and as u can see in the vid the new dc audio neos were smoking

hook a 30k amp to 8 subs or more

Yeah, aint lookin to do none of that..

Can u link that video? Haven't seen it.

lol i mean who can buy all their stuff at once tho? buying in bulk "saves"

Ya' know, I was sitting here thinking about what would I do with a couple of 30K amps if someone gave them to me.... Or I won them in a contest ?

I'd probably sell them brand new, and use the $ to fund a whole daily driver system... Probably like 6K or 8K watts total. A couple of nice, strong 15"s, and a bunch of mids / highs.

Then again, I already have a system in my truck that I'm pretty happy with... So $3 or $4K worth of upgrades ? Sure, I think I could figure out something to spend that on <img src=">

well i have a 15" ZVXv2 hooked up to a sk 4500, in the daily ride right now. dont need too upgrade components yet, the stock ones (2014 carmy se) are keeping up nicely thus far.

Naw man, gotta get aftermarket mids and highs in there, it's blasphemy to run stock.

As far as the 30k's subs. Something along the lines of the neo elite type build would be ideal. The way the neo magnet structure leaves tons of space open directly to the coil Gap is going to be needed. That's keeping the coils cooler than any perimeter vent or pole vent could ever dream of.

Using tc/trf motors I'd THINK you'd need to run lots to handle that 30k. Like 10-12 minimum. But this is just speculation, either way I'm excited to see a build like this possibly unfold before our eyes.

oh they will come in due time. I've been talking with a dealer on the Elite Neos' working on a deal with him. Seeing where it takes me. And u are damn right about the venting structure.  Couldn't really think of another sub that would be able to maybe handle the amps, other then the TRF's with upgraded soft parts.

Yeah i am super excited for the orders to be rolling in, and my dream build coming true ❤️
