Neo2020 Posted March 26, 2020 Report Share Posted March 26, 2020 Stock alt runs @ 190 amps. Currently running 2 soundstream 12s on a kicker cx1800 in a qbomb box. I'm looking to upgrade to a taramps md 8000 with a pair of American Bass Godfather 12s or Massive Audio BOAs. I see the md8000 is a monster hungry amp. How many batteries should I run on my stock alt to be safe? Any suggestions to run this setup? I plan on doing the big 3 as well. Would 3 D3100s work? One as my main and 2 as backup?
