There goes a system for under $600 but you would have to pay a shop to build you an enclosure. This set up is the “good version” of what you originally posted. And that amp in the link I posted is 1800 rms at 12.8 volts and over 2000 rms at 14.4 volts. That fi Q can take that and then some. 2500+ rms. Underrated. Don’t pay for any upgrades on that fi Q accept for $20 for the cooling. And the good thing about taramp md series is that you can get the same amp but a 1 ohm version, 2 ohm version or 4 ohm version. The one I picked for you is the 1 ohm version. So get a dual 2 ohm fi Q. Problem solved.

:stupid:“How can we help you?”
:guido:

Sundown is what I run but it’s expensive and you will spend over $1000 easy on a set up. So if you want a banging and reliable system under $1000 then go the route I’m trying to send you. But let’s just say that Skar has you in a trance with the numbers and prices or whatever then at least don’t get an EVL if you’re gonna stay in the Skar trance and not invest more money. I can find you another set up for a little cheaper but not Skar cheap. Hold up...

I don’t need to go with Skar, just seemed like a good deal and a easy way to go.   I’m probably just gonna go to a local shop and have them put something together,  they sell Digital Designs.

DD Audio sells good products. You can't really go wrong with them. Prices don't vary much from the Audio shops and the MSRP on DD's website. It's the price of doing business. I enjoy the DIY of the car and the audio community, but sometimes it's easier to let the pros build your system. (It hurts my pride to say that haha) It'll save you time and money in the long run, and probably sound better too. I'm just being real with you. If youre an audiophile, like many of us here, then you'll just want to keep building and improving. Take what some elitists say with a grain of salt. TBH the Skar package deal looked like a good option for the money, but I have never used or heard their equipment.

The Quote they gave me for the DDs wasn’t cheap but I haven’t heard anything bad about them.  I wish I had more knowledge bc I’m sure its fun and addicting to build your own systems I just don’t have the time and there is so much I don’t know.

🙂 lol

Funny how you could ask two different people about a company, or a person, and hear two completely different things.....

I've talked to Jordan over at Skar at length, a couple times, and he was super helpful, friendly, and never rushed me off of the phone.

That, plus I LOVE my 18" Skar EVL. Best sounding sub I've ever used.... Out of probably 30. My 4ch Skar amp has been rock solid so far too.

In my experience thus far, you really can't go wrong with Skar stuff. Fantastic value.

Oh, and about that package deal, heck yes ! Sounds like a great deal, and I bet it would hit pretty well. I haven't dealt with their enclosures though.... So I might pull the speaker out, and run a bead of silicone in all the inside corners just to be safe.

It is funny....Skar sucks, their horrible and never buy Skar.....no wait Skars good, their shit hits hard, great subs....lol.   Who knows, what I do know is the price of that deal works perfect for me, and I do know it would be better than nothing which is what I have currently.   I’m getting stressed over putting stupid subwoofers In my ride, how stupid that lol

Lol, you called them all pissy about emails YOU subscribed to. Thru don't just send them, you have to enter your email to subscribe. And during order process you have to check the box to subscribe to them

I'm sure you just politely asked the email newsletter to stop and weren't acting all irrate and entitled.

Skar puts out great products, been buying them for years just cause one person got there pussy hurt doesn’t mean there product sucks. Are there better brands of corse but if your looking for some good bass there are just fine. DD I think is one of the best in car audio but it’s not affordable for 80% of the people looking for bass.

I own plenty of skar products. I have their lp series amps in my truck. Solid reliable and do rated power all day. Been using the monoblock and 4 channel for years with no issues. Recently bought 2 skar vd 8s for my sierra ext cab. They sound damn good and build quality is great. Give skar a chance. Youll laugh at the haters after you do.
