Coaxials have non polarized 100v capacitors as the “crossover” circuit (not a crossover) to protect the tweeter from low frequencies. Whatever the woofer response is, it will pick it up. And whatever the tweeter response is, it will pick it up. When at around that 60hz mark the woofer will pick up response until around 20khz. When at around that 1000hz mark the tweeter will pick up response until around 20khz. So, everything under that 1000hz the woofer is playing which is all good. But above 1000 hz is where the problem arises, because both the woofer and the tweeter are picking up response and playing. Numbers will vary in each different coaxial. But the rollover is all the same in every coaxial. No split of frequencies. No crossover.
