fishchris1
I'm talking about the 100Kwt F350. Pretty rediculous right ? I love that truck. Anyway, by adding a shell, like they have done with this truck, one can get a TON of cubic footage for a big stereo system. Kind of a blow through..... except it's not just like a cutout in front of the bed... It's the entire front of the bed and back of the cab which has been completely removed. Well, that's all fine and good, but here's my big question, if one has a huge enclosure that starts in the bed, and ends in the cab, what do they do about flexing between the bed and the cab, which ALL trucks have ??? I mean how do they essentially turn a truck, into an SUV, eliminating all the flex between the bed and the cab ?

jmanjr82
I would imagine steel bracing/support plates, and welding would be secure
Fish Chris
Well, that sounds good on the surface..... But still, you couldn't just weld the edge of sheet metal, and expect it to have any strength. I dunno', man..... I think this might be really complicated. Like, don't try this at home kind of shit. Another reason I asked, is that I already have an F150..... and cant afford an SUV.
