Ohmmm
The picture attached is a basis of what I'm considering building for a trunk. I'm just not so sure if 2 subs facing up and 2 facing rear will sound good. I've only used sealed enclosures in the past but I can't get 4 12s to fit all rear firing in my trunk, which in my experience sounds the best and hits the hardest in the cabin. I'm dead set on 4 12s, and super curious how well I can make a ported enclosure sound. Does it matter which way the subs are facing as long as the port(s) are facing the right way? Joshdashef
I saw a guy who put subs on the side of his box and port forward into the cabin of a trunk build. As long as the subs are in the correct polarity it should still work just fine but with 4 12s you options are kinda limited for a trunk SMD Tool Map (2022): https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/220267-smd-tool-map-2022/ My Port Size Calculator (in progress): https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/217087-port-size-calculator-in-progress/ Common Port Walls for a Slot Port: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/217076-common-port-walls-why-it-matters-to-your-box/?tab=comments#comment-3240313
