1point21gigawatts
My best guess is because noobs clip and it’s safer to match rms but bass heads know about box rise and voltage drop and incorporate that because we won’t be clipping. Plus manufacturers don’t want a bunch of people bugging them about blown subs because they didn’t know what they were doing. Plus, manufacturers can’t guesstimate each individual box rise and voltage drop to make accurate adjusted ratings. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
Backwoods
Well.... my subs will be rated at 750 rms each.... And the amp will be 2K rated, but dynos at 2500 at 1 ohm.... but since i wont be giving it 14.4volts and after box rise, MAYBE they will get the 750 they are rated at or at least close to it... MAYBE. I hope LOL Singer 250amp Alt, Singer PCM bypass harness Titan8 Lithium Underhood safe BCI PWR-S5 Big 3 W/ dual runs of power/ground.
