slybu
iv attached some pics of the car boot(called a trunk in america). also some measurements of the tray thats in the back of the boot, is there some sort of shallow sub/box or other decent sounding setup that could fit in that tray area? would give me loads of boot space. amp is under front seat so that gives even more space up back. just looking for all possible options. slybu
Just checked this sundown sub: https://sundownaudio.com/lv/sa/subwoofers/e-series/ E series 10 has recommended ported box size of 1cuft. So what difference would there be with my 12 inch pioneer sealed vs the sundown 10 inch ported?
1point21gigawatts
That would sound good. Do you plan on getting a custom subwoofer enclosure made or buying a pre fab enclosure? It’s best to get one made. It costs a little bit more money, but it’s worth it. For sure. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
slybu
I could make the box myself. Local diy shop provides mdf cut to size. Id need to assemble it and cut the hole out for the sub. Odd sundown suggest a 1cuft ported box for the 10inch but the design plan on their website seems to say its 1.2cuft net?
