1point21gigawatts
Are you going to wrap fabric around that and then staple it and the cut the speaker holes and then fiber glass it, sand it, body fill it, sand it and then prime it, sand it again and the paint and clear coat? “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”

I am going to wrap fabric. Then use fiberglass cloth in top. Then the other stuff minus paint. To be honest I am not sure if I'm going to paint it or vinyl it yet. I got to first see if I have vinyl that would work. The only reason I'm not sure on the painting. I don't want a shiny finish on it. Even the matt finish paints seem to be too shiny to me. If I can get it smooth enough vinyl would be best imo. But this is the first time doing this stuff so jury is out on it. Still learning as I go lol Cowboy Escort GrAnny ThUmper The Burp

No prep work, just sand it and vinyl it or carpet it. That’s what’s up dude. I can’t wait to see it. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”
dog24fret
stock location of cassette player in the center console. Now for the dsp. Onstar was removed for the bass knob. They fit pretty good imo. Little snug at the dash section. Will have just enough room for the vinyl before rubbing.I think they turned out pretty decent for the first time. Still has some minor blemishes. I wanted perfect surface but just couldn't get it right now. I am sick of sanding lol Cowboy Escort GrAnny ThUmper The Burp

But honestly, them pods and dsp holder look good. I would finish prepping them and scuff them with fine grit sandpaper and paint them flat black with some trusto rusto spray paint. “How can we help you?” “And don’t forget to tell them that the customer isn’t always right.”

The dsp and bass knob I might do the black paint. I wanted to repaint the entire center console another color besides that khaki or grey color it is. But we will see lol Cowboy Escort GrAnny ThUmper The Burp

From what I see, you would do good with whatever you decided to do.
