Daddy_ Posted September 27, 2020 Report Share Posted September 27, 2020 I'm looking to do a SQ setup but with a bit of output. Car will be a 2019 Mazda CX5 with the Bose system. Will be running a single amp to run the whole system. Amp will be a JL Audio VXI 1000/5. Fronts will be ran active either Focal K2 series or JL C5's. The sub will be built into the spare tire well. I was thinking of going a single W7. I can either do a 8w7 ported or 10w7 sealed. I only have around 500 to 600RMS to play with on the sub channel. I want to be able to hit every low and high note but not sound boomy. An example of the sound I am going for is you know when you get a nice high end sound bar from Samsung, Bose, Sonos and the bass is just right. That is what I am trying to achieve and wouldnt mind a bit more output. Sundown Audio E-10 V.3 - 500w RMS - $140 Sundown Audio SA-10 - 750w RMS - $218 SSA Demon 10" - 550w RMS - $156 SSA FBL 8" - 650w RMS - $170 I know you want it tuned to a specific hz w/ either ported/sealed..
