Why not build a new baffle and just run the 2 Aqs in the back seat thats what i have in my car and it pounds like no other

Would the problem im having maybe caused by it being wired out of phase? it just popped in my head that maybe thats it. im not sure.

I was trying to sell it but no body is really interested. i might recone it and sell it some time im not sure.

could be are you running each coil to each amp

I only have it on 1 zx1000.1. wired down to 2 ohms. pos from one coil to neg on the other. and then positive from the other coil and neg from the opposite coil to the amp.

well i moved the box and it got louder plus i think the sub is breaking in some more. its sounding better but i think its something with the box. its tuned to 32 hz but its not picking up anything past like 45hz

I had the same problem in a buddy of mines cavalier. we had to seal off the trunk from the passenger compartment . if you opened the trunk it got alot louder inside the car. give that a try and see if it makes a difference by opening the trunk.

it did kind of seem like it got louder when i opened it.
