everybodyknowme Posted November 1, 2020 Report Share Posted November 1, 2020 I choose to upgrade my amp to the SFB-1500d. Seen the videos and thought why not, good power and small size. Well I get the box and no instructions, no fuse rating, nothing. Go to Sundown website and no info anywhere on the full bridge lineup. Has anyone purchased/ installed one of these yet. Any info you can give on input sensitivity, fuse, etc. I'm having trouble setting the gains correctly and seem weird that they would have products with no web info. liteblue Posted January 12, 2021 Report Share Posted January 12, 2021 I have the SFB 8000 and the lack of documentation is a frustrating. As for fuse rating you figure that with math. RMS power divided by 13.8 volts gives you amperage required. Divide that number by .7 for efficiency. That gives you a realist idea of what current the amplifier will need to give you RMS wattage. OR you put in the largest fuse for rated amperage of the wire you are using, ie 125 amp 4 awg, 325 amp 1/0 awg. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
