Gluzz
Hi! i recently got my hands on a jbl px600.2 to pair with my 12" Alpine Type R. The first time i set it up, its power LED turned on. but my subwoofer made no sound, even when the RCA was giving power like it should (it works on my other amp) some time later, i dont know how, but it began working like intended after i put the RCA cable back in. ______________ days later on it began making popping sounds when the car was on with no music playing, pulling the RCA stopped this. now ive connected it agian and im back to the power LED turning on but having no sound like i in the beginning How can i fix this? my other amp that runs on the same distrubution block works without a problem? All cables seem to be firmly connected Does somebody have an idea? Things ive tried to no effect: making 2 REM cables instead of daisy chaining running amp in stereo/without bridging swapping RCA's/swapping speaker cables using AUX-in input instead of Line-in on the amp adjusting gain/Crossover points putting amp from mono to stereo
Dafaseles
Could be an international problem. Check your ground, make sure that's not the culprit. Seems like you verified it wasn't the head unit or RCA's. If there's anything else between the head unit and amp, single those out to verify those can't be the problem. Then you know it's the amp 2011 Chevy Silverado under construction My build log here. Check it out!
