Finally bit the bullet, and ordered some subs. These are the lowest tier drivers, I've ordered in years. That said, they are quite nice, especially for the low low cost. Well see. Gately box is supposed to be here tomorrow. 

 

 

 

 

EDIT - these will be ran on my Damore 1k. Time will tell if i get his new 1.5k, or, another 1k, to go along with the other. Well see, and again, this wont ever see any lanes. Im done and over that shit. Just a OK, meh daily driven system. So far, i adore the Satori mids, and have them and the hertz in the dash set up really well, using ROOM EQ Wizard, and a Mic and REQ software. Im really happy with the output of the front gear, as well as the low end im getting just from the Satori's. Really happy. But, it needs some low end bad, and im curing that now. 

Which size gately box are you going to use for them?

If i reallu had the choice, id have done the 8 cube one. I am going to run the 7 cube one.

I feel theyll still perform well..tuned low, good port area. Id do a larger or largest box if i could, and use space over power for low end extension. But, i think 3.5 per will be good to great for meow.

It was just something we tossed around for years in the lanes,.... people started using it,... Then someone said "that team meh, are loud,.... Which, we were never ever any type of official team.

 

hell people started giving us decals, shirts, (see a couple of the shirts below) we got a Meh trophy one year lol..... its just a little inside joke between me and a few special buds. Guess im still in the habit.

Raptor lined my RSG rock sliders, and got them on, got the Damore 1500.1, (i traded a good dude my 1000.1 and 350.2) and got it hooked up (.5 nominal). These lil C5's get down. Play low-ish. (Those that know me, know what i think "low" is) Not bad at all. Voltage does dip here and there, so, im making a lil power, but, nothing in the least that concerns me. 

  After working all morning on the pile, we jumped in it, and drove down to Moab. If you have never been, its beautiful. It looks like God used his finger, and made amazing formations on the earth. I use to go to Moab at least twice a year, in my 20's. Every Easter Jeep Safari for 7 years straight. Then went on a long hiatus. While this trip was fun, Moab has changed. And changed a lot. And, not in a good way. I wont be going back any time soon. Cheers.
