I watched a dyno of the bamf 3000 and it was awful... I bought a brand new bamf 5000... Hooked it up and I could've turned my gain all the way up and I was just barely getting any power (Just like the dyno on the bamf 3000) ... Then I decided to hook up my stupid "Gain control knob" (Yes that's what it's called on the bamf models.. , its not a "Bass knob" ) .  And I turned it all the way up,, THEN there went my bass. I started POUNDING  compared to what it was without the "Gain control knob" ..... Soo with that experience,  I personally think that Power acoustik bamfs  are simply made different than other amps.. That knob being all the down makes the gain be all the way down... If I turn my gain up to halfway then with my bass knob all the way up.. I'm actually getting that halfway gain level. My uncle runs 250 watts on 2 12s and my lead man at work has 700 watts on 1 12.. Soo I compare my system to their systems.. (They have complete different setups) And I am DESTROYING them believe it or not.. If didnt have 1700rms or around there I wouldnt be killing them like I am.. Basically all I'm saying is I think bamfs need dyno'd with the gain knob in and all the way up.. I want real results

The knob typically controls the rca voltage going to the amp, so it literally turns the amp off when turned down. I guess the more I read your post the more frustrated I become because I don’t even understand the meaning behind the post? Besides stating “bamf are made different”?!?

No sense in frustrating yourself.. You guys said the Bamf amps are over rated and ain't worth a fuck. Which you have every reason to think that way going by the bamf 3000 dyno on youtube. All I'm doing is explaining why I think different. The original meaning of this post is past.. already figured out... We're talking about bamf amps now.. You started this conversation,, dont frustrate yourself getting into it.

If I'm banging this hard with (according to bamf 3000 dyno) 300-600rms then 1700 REAL watts should be blowing shirts and shit around ?!? I'm already rattling my whole suburban.. And like I said before I'm comparing my system to the few other systems I have heard... My buddy has a suburban with 700 watts to 1 12 in it.. i got a suburban and 2 12s with Supposedly MAYBE 600rms (According to dyno on youtube) How could I be DESTROYING him like i am with LESS watts than him??? Not adding up.. Surely someone's with me here.?.. It makes total sense.. I think I'm getting my 1700rms.. But if I'm not then I truly would be amazed

Bro, I don't care what equipment you're using. If you're happy, I'm happy. All I care about is that you're not clipping your subs to death so your equipment will last. Things are expensive, and I want your equipment to last. Also, I'm interested in what you've said about there power acoustics amps maybe needing the knob and not functioning properly without it. Maybe you can turn a couple opinions around.

I'm still looking into finding a cheap, decent oscilloscope and a clamp. I've been busting my ass all day on my build lol. Give me a little bit brother.

I’m clamping out at 3013w and it can be hard to breath, it’s shakes your chest cavity violently with a ported enclosure, but not windy enough to blow a shirt around, those videos you see have a lot to do with the enclosure build. The vehicle cab also comes into play

Instead of upgrading your subwoofers, upgrade your amp. Them Skar evl’s are good. So, just buy a taramps smart 3 at $250-$305, depending on where you buy it from, and be done with it and you’ll be happy. Don’t buy power acoustik anything. It’s crap. Period. I’m not talking junk. I’m just trying to help you out so you can be happy and have some good sound and pressure.

:stupid:“How can we help you?”
