VnDpops
Hey everyone, been a forum stalker for a long time, dreaming about when I'll be able to start a serious build. The time is here. I appreciate everyones experience and input. Here's my situation, I have a skar 5 channel amp and I'm looking to bridge channels 1&2, 3&4, and leave 5 for my misbass. I've contacted Skar and they would/could not get me any engineering information. Question 1: For the bridged channels do I need to have that input for both channels? For example split my tweeter input Rca and put it into 1&2 inputs for the bridged output. Second question: Can I run different impedences for different channels. For example ch 1-4 as 4 ohm and run channel 5 at 2 ohms. I apologize for the wordiness, I hope that is easily understood and someone has already figured this all out. If not, in time I'll be back with a definitive answer. Two kids and lots of overtime, I don't have a lot of "free" time.
